Tuvardal - 1/2 cup
Vegetables - 1 cup ( carrot, beans,avarkai& potatoes)
Tomatoe - 1 medium sized
Small Onino- 4 nos
Tamrind - small lemon size
Sambar powder- 1tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2tsp
Salt - To taste.
Water - 4cups'
To Fry and Grind:-
Dry coconut(copra) - 2tbsp
dhania (coriander seeds) - 1 1/2tbsp
red chilli - 3-4(kashmiri chillies)
chana dhal - 2 tsp
Methi seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon - 1 inch piece
Cloves - 2
jeera - 1tsp
pepper - 1tsp
hing - a pinch
Pressure cook the Dal.
Pressure cook the rice.
Fry and Grind all the ingrediants of To Fry and Grind.
In a pan add some oil and saute all the vegetables.
Mix this paste along the sauted vegetables.
Add tamarind water to this along with sambar powder,turmeric powder,salt.
Now mix the cooked rice and dhal along with the mixer of vegetables and grinded paste.
Add some water.
Pressure Cook this for 5 whistles.
Finally add Ghee and serve hot with cucumber rati.
