Nandu puttu(crab)

Ingredients:
  • Nandu (crab) - 2 lbs
  • onions - 1/4 kg
  • green chillies - 4 - 5 ( to taste)
  • Fennal seeds - 1tsp

  • garlic - 5 pods
  • salt to taste

  • turmeric - 1/4 tsp
  • curry leaves - 10 - 12
  • oil to fry

Method:
  • Open the can , remove the water and put some turmeric and mix (no need to boil it)
  • Peel the garlic and keep it aside
  • Cut onion into fine slices
  • Cut green chillies into fine slices
  • In a kadai add oil and add the fennel seeds then add garlic,curry leaves and green chillies then fry until the garlic are cooked

  • Now add the onions fry untill it turns golden brown in colour then add turmeric powder little.
  • Now add the crab and salt .
  • Mix it well
  • Leave it in simmer for 5 mins.
  • Serve hot with rasam rice or pepper kuzhambu
