Potato kurma

  1. Potato- 1 cup
  2. Onion-1
  3. Tomatoes-2

  4. Ginger and garlic paste -1 tsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Oil-1 tsp

Grind to Paste:
  1. Green chillies-4
  2. Fennel seeds-1 tsp
  3. Coconut-1/2 cup
  4. Poppy seeds- 1/2 tsp
  5. Cashwnut (if needed)

  1. Oil-1 tsp
  2. Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp
  3. Curry Leaves.

  1. Heat 1 tsp oil add fennal seeds.
  2. Now add onion, tomatoes, ginger and garlic paste , salt , cooked potato and ground paste.
  3. Add 1 cup of water and Mix well.
  4. Reduce to medium heat. Cover and cook till the raw smell vanishes and potatoes are tender. It might take up to any where bet wen 15 to 20 minutes or less. Add more water if the gravy starts thickening.
  5. Garnish with coriander and remove from heat...
