Thoor Dal Gravy

  • Thoor dal - 1 cup.
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  • Urad dal - 1 tsp
  • Red chilli - 2no
  • Asfodita pinch
  • Curry leaves as needed


  • Wash the Dal.
  • Pressure cook tuvar dhal after adding turmeric powder , jeera,asfodita and water to the same.
  • Heat the oil add the mustard seeds allow to splutter then add urad dal , red chilli and curry leaves.
  • Then add the pressure cooked dal to it and mix it well.
